Our Foundry

Kethstone Foundry (Pty) Ltd is a South African industrial foundry specializing in the production of high-performance grinding media, pellets, and precision castings for the mining, cement, and metallurgical sectors. The facility features advanced metallurgical infrastructure, including dual 10-ton induction furnaces and a 20-ton heat-treatment furnace, which enables Kethstone to maintain control over quality, cost, and lead times. Their core products include engineered cylpebs and grinding media, iron and steel pellets, and custom cast components. Kethstone is committed to sustainability, compliance with environmental regulations, and high-quality standards, making it a competitive player in the industry.

Thabang Lesaoana

Thabang Lesaoana is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kethstone Foundry. He holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has pursued advanced studies in business leadership and industrial management in insitutions such Liverpool Univeristy and University of Pretoria . With over eighteen years of experience in mining plant operations, quarry maintenance, and project execution, Thabang provides the strategic direction that drives Kethstone’s continued growth and innovation. His leadership blends deep technical knowledge with business insight to ensure operational efficiency, quality assurance, and long-term sustainability. Thabang is passionate about empowering local industries, creating employment opportunities, and positioning Kethstone as a key contributor to South Africa’s industrial and economic development.

CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Kgotso Worthwords Lesaoana

Kgotso Worthwords Lesaoana is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Kethstone Foundry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a BCom Honours in Business from Regent Business School, and he is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of South Africa (UNISA). With a strong academic and professional foundation in finance, business strategy, and organizational leadership, Kgotso oversees Kethstone Foundry’s financial operations and long-term strategic direction. His leadership focuses on driving operational excellence, financial sustainability, and innovative growth. Kgotso is passionate about advancing local industrial development, empowering South African talent, and creating lasting economic value through visionary management and sound financial governance.
